In recent winters the sudden, large drop in temperature and heavy snowfalls create serious problems on the road network, with good preparation and foresight continuing to be the most important resources of the modern driver.

- Fill the car with fuel and check the basic systems of your car.

- Keep a low speed – leave a large distance from the vehicle in front so that you have time and space to react in an emergency.

- Do not brake suddenly as there is a risk of your vehicle swerving.

- Try to move the wheels left and right a few times to get the snow off them.

- Regularly check that the exhaust is clear of snow.
