Holiday driving: everything you need to know.

05 October 2023

Did you know that Christmas and New Year's days are among the periods with the highest car traffic in Europe? More than 268 million passenger cars are on the road during the holidays in Europe - and this while a recent survey reveals that the majority of European families... are afraid of driving during the festive season!

It is a fact that during the holidays we have many factors that make traffic and driving difficult. Congested roads, along with the rush and fatigue brought by holiday preparations, as well as adverse weather conditions - low temperatures, rain, snowfall, frost - require the maximum attention of the driver. They also require his foresight regarding the most essential "first aid" tool for his vehicle, in case... the bad happens and it "runs" out of battery - the lithium battery starter!

Why should I choose a lithium battery jump starter instead of "classic" jumper cables?

  • The jumper cable solution requires… an additional vehicle. But if you have a lithium battery jump starter, you don't have to wait for a stranger to stop. Lithium battery starters are powered internally by their own lithium ion battery, which is why they give you autonomy.
  • The lithium battery starter offers maximum safety as it includes a reverse polarity and short circuit protection circuit, ensuring spark-free connections.
  • It does not require special knowledge. The lithium battery starter has safety technology with spark protection, the user does not need to worry about finding the correct polarity and in case the battery clamps come into contact.
  • The lithium battery starter offers extremely high power… in small dimensions. Easy to use, it offers ease of portability with the ability to store in the passenger glove box, luggage compartment or tool box.
  • It's… a multi-tool! The lithium battery jump starter can also recharge your USB devices, power 12 Volt devices and some jump starters have an LED flashlight.

How do I start my vehicle using a lithium battery starter?

Following 4 simple steps!

1. Connect the red (positive) battery clamp of the lithium battery starter to the positive terminal of the battery on the vehicle with the dead battery.

2. Connect the black (negative) battery clamp of the lithium battery starter to the frame body.

3. Try to start the vehicle with the dead battery. If the vehicle's engine does not start immediately, wait a few minutes to allow current to flow to the battery and try again.

4.Disconnect the lithium battery starter in the reverse order, starting with removing the black (negative) battery clamp of the lithium battery starter.
